• "The Grade 5s vs the Teachers Lacrosse game was Friday" B.S....the students think it was a tie, but really it was 7-6 for the teachers 
• "We finished up our Famous Five posters" C.J. --ask us who the Famous 5 were!
• "We did collaborative flower art with Ms. Rutland's class" L.O.
• "In Social Studies we started reading some First Nation's stories" A.J.
• "We did math with Mr. Pierce" K.T.
• "We cheered for the Grade 5s so loud" M.R.
• "Lacrosse outside with Mr. Barker" M.H.
• "Kept reading The Giver" A.H.
• "In science we started planning our burglar alarm systems, we build them next week" L.O
• "We played camouflage in gym" M.S
• "We voted on the best catwalk prototypes" L.O.

Catwalk Prototypes

This week the students of Room 18 continued to work on prototypes of the catwalk designs with their grade 1/2 buddies. They are all finished and this week other students will get to view the prototypes and vote on which design is best and why. We are all excited to get working on the real catwalk just outside our school!

TELUS Spark

This week all the Grade 4/5s had the opportunity to go to Telus Spark and participate in the Sparking Circuits program. We had a great time exploring not only electrical circuits, but all the other incredible exhibits.

• "At night we went swimming before our sleepover at the museum." J.E
• "Sign language club performed 2 songs at the assembly Friday for the volunteers." L.O
• "Monday we had our skipping Heart and Stoke Fundraiser kick off assembly." A.J
• "At the Royal Tyrrell we went on a hike in the badlands, we learned about the different rocks that make up the area, and saw some deer poop." A.H
• "At school we got to do an alphabet scavenger hunt" S.T
• "We had a agriculture presentation and a music saxophone presentation." C.J and J.F
• "We learned about raptors and one of the groups names was the raptors" L.O
